You will be working from a great location at our newly refurbished head office in the centre of Birmingham – just two minutes from New Street Station. As Search Manager, you will work as part of a fast-paced digital marketing team. You will lead our SEO and paid search activities for our clients, while supervising a small team.
You will be on top of industry trends, adjusting client activity based on ever-changing best practices. You'll also be highly numerate, able to thrive in a data-driven environment and have the ability to analyse, interpret and optimise KPIs with confidence.
Create and implement the SEO and PPC strategies for our clients and for the agency
Maintain and develop current editorial SEO workflows and identify new areas for content creation
Work closely with account managers, content and web development departments
Assist in ensuring SEO best practice is adhered to across all websites
Perform regular competitor analysis and identify opportunities to improve and overtake in key markets
Create SEO technical site audits and competent at creating a workflow to rectify issues
Experience in B2B and B2C clients
Planning, testing, implementation and optimisation of efficient and profitable paid media campaigns across multiple networks and for several major retail sites/brands
Use Google Analytics to provide analysis and insight for website performance to support new business and strategy planning and optimisation
Your essential skills
Highly articulate at communicating SEO and paid search strategy, tactics and analysis to clients and the wider agency
Solid background in paid and organic search
Strong experience of successfully creating PPC campaigns in Google, including display and YouTube
Proven PPC skills, optimisation techniques and bid management
Experience of Paid Social campaigns, Facebook, Twitter & Linkedin
Experienced in the use of Google Analytics
Understanding of how technical website development contributes to successful SEO
Experience of using CMS platforms to implement SEO tactics
Basic HTML skills
Proficient in SEO tools such as SEM Rush, MOZ, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs
Monitor algorithmic changes and developments and recommend actions to relevant teams
Your desirable skills
Experience in remarketing across Google, Facebook & LinkedIn
Organic and Paid A/B split testing for CRO
Google shopping / eCommerce experience
Experienced in Google Tag Manager - implementing tags
Google Ads and Google Analytics Certified
Previous agency experience
